My associate, Paul Gelling, populating the front panel of Collabworx/Sensyr Energy Monitoring AC Power Distribution and Network Hub which will be used as part of a smart building system in the Syracuse University Center of Excellence building located in downtown Syracuse, New York. The system will be used to monitor energy in a cubicle to analyze the way people use energy in an office situation. All eight outlets will be switchable over the Internet using an embedded controller with solid state relays. Total energy consumption will be monitored and logged, for the purpose of determining whether or not the smart building system can actually save energy when providing personal environmental monitoring and adjustments. Because this cabinet cover is not perfectly flat, it was a challenge to machine the text without making it too shallow or cutting completely through the box. We used one box as a test unit and finally found that a depth of 5/100ths worked well and set the zero point on the Z axis at the highest part of the lid. Here’s few video footages from my dedicated Forza Motorsport 3 *triple screen* setup. Here’s my config : 3x XBOX 360 with hard drive, 3x Packard Bell 22.5″ fullhd monitor, 3x VGA cable for XBOX360, 3x Forza 3 game, Pioneer 5.1 amp + speakers, Microsoft XBOX360 Racing Wheel, 1 network hub 10/100, 3x RJ45 ethernet cable In order to make this run, the 3 Forza games on each XBOX must be on the same level of version. I mean all the upgrade must be applied on all XBOX or you won’t be able to configure the multi screen set up. Regarding the video : because I’m using a camera far behind me, the tree pictures on the monitors don’t seem to be aligned, but from the point of view of the player, the three pictures are just … perfectly aligned ;-) Now I shut up and drive! ;-)

The D-Link DCS-5300 Pan/Tilt/(digital) Zoom network camera. Not the best PTZ on the market. The DCS-6620 has optical zoom, but is at least $300 more. If you want something much better then the Axis 213 is greater but costs $1200 more. The DCS-5300 is not wireless. Wireless is about $200 more, but the planned location for this camera is in an area with an easily accessible network hub and where the wireless network has a lot of interference and other load.

STAR WARS REBEL DAWN EPISODE TWO- SOCIAL NETWORKING The planet was hotter- no, it was merely more humid. Like a tropical rainforest. In fact, most of the world WAS tropical rainforest. And C3-PO did not like Wayland. Neither did Major Zell-Kai, ground commander of this expedition. Almost all of the Rebel Army was here for this fight, the enemy strength was unknown, and they had to babysit a couple of droids. Their mission was to rewrite the rulebook- specificaly, a Galactic Empire Network Hub, to allow the Alliance Fleet to pass through the auto-station scanners without raising alarms. Hackers would probably detect and reverse this quickly, but it was their only shot to even getting to Fresia. The X-Wings were at hand.

STAR WARS REBEL DAWN EPISODE THREE- GRAB AND DASH Holding a position was never the strong suit of the Alliance Marines. The ragtag commando forces were much more adept at taking positions then trying to hold them. And yet, for long, deadly minutes, all the Rebels could do was cool their heels and keep the Imperial troops from flooding over and destroying the droids, while R2 worked his charms on the network hub. Setting up defensive positions, battle formations, and mobile constructed anti-vehicle dish lasers, they prepared for a struggle.
