And C3-PO did not like Wayland. Neither did Major Zell-Kai, ground commander of this expedition. Almost all of the Rebel Army was here for this fight, the enemy strength was unknown, and they had to babysit a couple of droids. Their mission was to rewrite the rulebook- specificaly, a Galactic Empire Network Hub, to allow the Alliance Fleet to pass through the auto-station scanners without raising alarms. Hackers would probably detect and reverse this quickly, but it was their only shot to even getting to Fresia. The X-Wings were at hand.
